Following an initial start on site working as a subcontractor for some of the larger civil contractors
on site, Port Engineering were approached by Alstom Power with a view to becoming a direct
contractor.
This involved both temporary and permanent works and at the height of the project, the company
employed in excess of 150 men and coordinated the activities of approximately 30 subcontractors
under NAECI conditions.
